Finding any wedding supplier can be daunting, but brides often confess that they are particularly nervous about approaching florists. This can be for a number of reasons, most commonly that people don't think they know enough about flowers and don't want to look silly. Well I'm here to tell you gals, sometimes we don't even know the names of flowers and it is absolutely not something to be afraid if. 99.9% of florists are fun, friendly, down to earth humans who genuinely LOVE what they do. I for one know that I would talk to a brick wall about peonies and floral trends if it looked remotely like it was listening, so send that email or make that call today!

I absolutely LOVE glitter. Who doesn’t? And when I talk about glitter, I’m on a Coachella/Glasto vibe in my head but with less mud and more sparkle!
It’s not just a festival thing these days now and glitter bars are slowly and sparkly making their way into your events. Whether it’s a garden party, wedding reception or a bride tribe upping their hen-do game, glitter is well and truly on the agenda.
Us Brits are pretty familiar with the crazy weather changes of good old blighty, but the constant shift in conditions can play havoc with your wedding day plans. You may have planned to have your wedding photos out in the gardens of the venue, but then torrential rain hits, or you’re wearing a beautiful strapless gown and the temperature had plummeted to under 10 degrees. It’s the kind of thing that keeps a bride-to-be up at night.
I saw a post in one of those Facebook groups the other week, you know the ones, buy/see/rent/sell your soul for your wedding etc. (don't even try to deny that you haven't joined one, we all know everyone does, even if it's just for the giggles!) But it got me thinking, someone asked if they needed to wear white wedding shoes, someone else asked what shoes to wear with an Ivory wedding dress, someone else was struggling to find "bridal shoes". To me, if a bride wears shoes to her wedding, they're bridal shoes right? So I decided to look through some of my galleries to remind myself what shoes some of my brides had worn and upon further inspection not that many had opted for whatever a traditional white/ivory bridal shoe is meant to be, so here's an idea of what shoes you can wear with your dress!
For a bride, when beginning to plan her wedding one of the most continuous thoughts (and most asked about questions from friends!) is finding 'The Dress'. Long? Short? White? Ivory? There are so many things to think about when considering what dress you want. Theres also a LOT of choice out there so whilst it can be a good thing, it can also make the search for the perfect dress very stressful!
So today we’re gonna talk second shooters. What are they? What do they do? Do we actually need one? All questions I see getting asked all the time so I thought I’d post my own thoughts and feelings. If you book my middle package you get the option of a second shooter or a pre-wed shoot, if you book the top package you get both!
I put a shout out on social media to see what tips or advice I could give to couples to help with planning and ensure everything runs as smooth and stress free as possible! One popular question was “how do we make sure that we stay calm during our bridal or groom preparations”. So here’s 5 top tips I’ve picked up during my time spent with the girls or guys in the morning!
Okay today I’m tackling a very sensitive topic that always seems to be discussed frequently in Facebook wedding groups… *dramatic jaws music plays* “Should we feed our wedding photographer”? Honestly, if I had a pound for every time I saw this discussed I could buy myself a cheeky Nandos and have change!
Planning a wedding, party, event, house renovation or even just want to save fonts you like? Chances are you’re probably using Pinterest! Now whilst I do love it, there are definitely some pros and cons of using Pinterest to help you plan.
